Arsenal are reportedly in talks with PSG Left-back Layvin Kurzawa over a switch to the club in June once his contract with the Parisians expires.

The 27-year old will be out-of-contract in June and the club is reluctant to offer him a new deal and it’s for this reason that Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta wants to conclude talks for the player ahead of the summer when he will be a free agent.

Arsenal have problems in the left-back position. Kieran Tierney is for long with a shoulder injury while Sead Kolasinic is struggling with form, fitness and injury issues as well and Arteta wants to bring on board Kurzawa for more competition and cover in that position.

The speedy left-back has been with PSG for the last five years. He moved to the capital from Monaco in 2015 in a deal worth 20 million Euros and has been a key player for the club. He has reportedly been offered a five-year deal by the club.Image result for Layvin Kurzawa

Meanwhile, the Gunners’ efforts of getting John Stones from Manchester City on a loan deal has been dealt a huge blow. This after City boss Pep Guardiola ruled out the England international’s departure from the club this January.

Arteta wants to beef up his backline and wanted to get the out-of-favor man on loan until the end of the season when William Saliba will join the club.
