Uhuru-Ruto Marriage is Over, Uhuru Summons Matiang’i for Crucial Meeting, Ndindi Nyoro: I Fought for Jubilee

Good morning,

It has been a weekend of high drama served with peppered teargas. On the receiving end of this ‘police brutality’ was a section of Tanga Tanga politicians who had stormed the Kilimani Police Station, with the intention of freeing Moses Kuria, from lawful custody.

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro and Kuria are some of the politicians who advocated for police brutality against NASA supporters in the runner-up to the 2017 elections. Kuria even promised to ensure that parliament increases the budget of the National Police Service. Could he be a victim of this increment?

On social media, MP Babu Owino clashed with Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris, following his vulgar remarks towards Kandara MP Alice Wahome. This is not the first time Babu has attracted the ire of women leaders. In 2017 he spent a few days in custody for attacking President Uhuru’s mother.

Babu is a young ambitious politician, but his attacks on women might be his downfall. There are some paths you can’t cross.
