Murkomen Issues Tough Orders to Those Against DP Ruto

Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen has issued tough orders any government official opposed to Deputy President William Ruto.

Taking to his official twitter account on Sunday evening, Murkomen said that any government official who feels tired with DP Ruto should resign and join a government of their choice.

According to Murkomen, nobody is going anywhere away from Uhuruto.

The Elgeyo Marakwet senator demanded respect for the presidency as whole.

“There are too many stories about DP Ruto this&that.Get it from us if u serve in this Gov’t or you are a Jubilee leader&you are tired with DP Ruto go resign&join the government you want.Nobody is going anywhere away from UHURUTO. You MUST respect the Presidency as a whole.Period!” he tweeted.

His post comes amid criticism from the public over Ruto’s move to oppose the president on Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) matters.

The DP on Saturday argued that the BBI sensitization meetings being held accross the country are just but a waste of public resources.

On Friday, pro-BBI leaders led by former premier Raila Odinga met in Kisii for the sensitization meeting.

Today (Sunday), they met at Nzoia Sugar Guest House in Bungoma county ahead of a mega BBI meeting set to be held on January 18, 2020 at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.

The DP has been accused for going against the head of state on several occasions.

BBI was formed by Raila and president Kenyatta out of their March 9, 2018 handshake as a way of building bridges to a better and unified country.
