In a long facebook post, Dr. Mutua stated that media houses should stop glorifying immorality and airing dirty programs.

Adding that media houses are responsible for promoting immorality in the country.

“Our media must stop the glorification of immorality, hate, insults and the disaffection with authority. Don’t air dirty programs,” he wrote.

“Stop glorifying these. Stop publishing immorality in your newspapers. Be responsible and let’s save the world. We all have a responsibility, but the media is key in shaping values and character, especially among children and the youth. The media has to be responsible!.”

Adding that media houses airs immoral content for money.

“Media houses do it for money at the expense of values. We hate the rich and those in authority and degrade our women in the most callous manner. And we think it’s ok. People have become selfish and greedy and our youths are driven by the clamor for instant gratification, “reads part of Mutua’s post.

Dr. Mutua went on to blame national leaders who insult each other online for promoting immorality in the country.

“Our leaders insult each other in public and set a bad example for the youth, then when we see our creatives producing dirty content we wonder why. Guys, we can’t go on this way. It has to start with a personal commitment to be a good decent human being and to do to others as you want them to do to you,” he said.
