Air France Reveals Why Miguna was Kicked Out, Murkomen: Uhuru is our Investment & Iran Kills At least 30 US Soldiers

Good morning,

Red Alert! Lufthansa! Air France! These are some of the biggest trends in Kenya in the past 24 hours. There are all in relation to the woes facing lawyer Miguna Miguna as he attempts to return to his motherland.

Miguna has twice been blocked from boarding a Kenyan-bound flight after the Kenyan government allegedly issued a red alert against him, warning all airlines not to bring him to Kenya or any other African Country.

This is despite the government issuing a statement on Monday, saying that they will facilitate the politician’s return to the country as directed by the High Court. Government spokesperson Cyrus Oguna said the Foreign Affairs Ministry was dealing with the red alert issue.

Why is the government issuing contradictory statements on the lawyer’s matter? If there was a directive asking airlines not to bring Miguna to Kenya, did they need to issue a statement about facilitating his return?

The Kenyan government has put a lot of emphasis on public relations stunts. Unfortunately, they are so poor at this just like almost everything they put their hands on. These people thought that the red alert issue wouldn’t be traced back to them. Unlike the government, airlines have a responsibility to their clients and they were obliged to reveal what was happening.

This is the same government that has denied there were casualties in the recent Al Shabaab terror attack at Camp Simba military bay in Lamu County. International media outlets have claimed that at least one civilian was killed and that the Kenya government is aware.
