Veteran media personality Caroline Mutoko celebrated a new milestone in her life a few days ago as she turned a year older.
The popular television bombshell turned the good old 47 on Saturday, ensuring it was a fun-filled day as she begins the 3-year-old climb to 50.
To celebrate the day, her colleagues threw a pomp bash attended by close friends mostly her colleagues at Radio Africa Group.
Also sharing on her insta stories, Caroline remained grateful for her milestone and thanked her baker for her great work with a caption:
“A work of art and tastes even better! Thank you,” read her post.
Having a radio career that spans 16 years; with twelve years at Kiss 100 and 4 years at Capital Fm, the former morning show radio host is indeed ageing like fine wine.
Let’s face it, could by anyone have thought that she turned 47? I guess not.
Over the years, she has proven to try out new idea, she first began with her blog which was similar to almost having a comeback on media and later became an entrepreneur, launching a brand of lipstick.
“There are things that I have always wanted to do but I have held back on and I’m not going to rationalize it, sometimes the time has to be right. I want to make a lipstick line with you,” these were Caroline Mutoko’s words to Nelly Tuikong, owner of Pauline cosmetics in December 2018.
Many Kenyans will live to remember her as the first female broadcaster to command the morning airwaves with a mix of love and brutal honesty for the issues that affect Kenyans.
