KPL Side Signs Four, Two Extend Contracts

Kenyan Premier League side Posta Rangers has confirmed the signing of four new players as coach Sammy Omollo begins his beefing up for the second leg.

The Mail-Men have roped in two defenders from the relegated Kenyan Premier League side, Sony Sugar FC. They are Humphrey Okoti and Collins Okumu. The Awendo based Millers were relegated from the top tier after dishing out three walkovers on the league.

Okoti is widely traveled having featured for Tusker FC, Sofapaka, Bandari among other clubs. Okumu on the other hand previously turned out for Thika United FC before he vanished from the football scene. He re-emerged at Sony Sugar at the beginning of the 2019/20 season. Okoti has signed a short-term deal while Okumu will be at the club for three years.

The other new faces at the club are Clinton Kisiavuki who joins the Mail-men on loan from KCB for the remainder of the season. The midfielder failed to nail a place in the team under Zedekiah Otieno and has now been shipped out temporarily. Completing the list is striker Ezekiel Okare who joins the club on a three-year deal from Ulinzi Stars FC.

The club has also been handed a massive boost after two key players extended their contracts with the club. The two are defenders Charles Odette and Simon Mbugua who have both penned new three-year deals.

“Simon Mbugua and Charles Odete have both renewed the contract, keeping them for three years. All the best Mbugua and Odete,” the club said in a statement.
