For years, many knew Bridget Shighadi as Nick Mutuma’s girlfriend and later as Nick Mutuma’s baby mama but that changed on the 7th of October 2019.
This was after she landed the role of ‘Sofia’ in one of East Africa’s hottest shows ‘Maria’ which airs on Citizen TV.
A show that was a game-changer as it gave talented but unknown actors their breakthrough one of them being Shighadi.

Bridget has done the role of Sophia justice as it has earned her accolades from fans who have a love-hate relationship with her character.
