Several people are feared dead after a Lamu bus was attacked Thursday at Nyongoro area near Witu town.
Lamu County Commissioner Irungu Macharia confirmed the attack, stating that the Mombasa Raha bus was headed to Lamu from Mombasa when the militants carjacked it.
Macharia has since confirmed that three people are dead from the attack.
While the number of passengers onboard at the time of the attack is yet to be established, many more are feared dead from the attack.
