A badly mutilated body of a pedestrian has been transferred to a city morgue following a grisly road accident in Nairobi.
The pedestrian who is yet to be identified was knocked down by a vehicle as he attempted to cross Outering road near Manyanja.
This comes just days after two people cheated death on the same road after their car was sent flying into Nairobi River.
The Subaru Impreza is reported to have hit a speed bump at the Kariobangi roundabout before it plunged into the river.
The driver identified as Moses Munene was in the company of a lady- Mary Mumbi at the time of the horrible crash.
The duo were suspected to have been drunk at the time of the accident and would be taken to Kijabe Mission Hospital for treatment.
The wreckage of their car was pulled from the river bed and towed to Pangani Police station.
