Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has dismissed both wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and former Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama as authentic Ukambani leaders, revealing their personal interests.
KALONZO AND MUTHAMA DO NOT SPEAK FOR THE KAMBA COMMUNITY. TIME FOR A REAL LEADERS MEETING IS NOW.
I wish to congratulate former Machakos Senator Hon. Johnstone Muthama for his rare realistic observation in relation to remarks by @kalonzomusyoka about his political future.. pic.twitter.com/EIL81i6Iis

Kamba leadership is stirring a political debate over a Kingpin fit to lead them in the coming general elections. The leaders are openly fighting for the chance and as expected the race is getting dramatic.
Recently Kalonzo had to apoligise to Ukambani leaders after declaring his decision to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Johnstone Muthama then declared that he is now the Ukambani region political kingpin faulting Wiper leader Kalonzo for misleading the Community.
Well, Mutua has since given a statement saying that the Kamba nation is not for wager to the highest bidder.
According to Mutua the comments by Kalonzo that he will follow the 2022 political direction given by President Uhuru Kenyatta, can only mean that he has resigned himself to the fate that he is not capable of securing the vote of Kenyans to be the next President and can only be a supporter of another person.
Muthama on the other hand, he claims has also been busy waging the Kamba community to Deputy President William Ruto so that the Kamba voters become just supporters of others.
As a result the governor believes that the two leaders do not speak for the Kamba community but for themselves and their own personal interests.
Governor Mutua has insisted that the Kamba community is tired of just being used as supporters of others to Statehouse.
