KPL Side Loans Out Four

Bandari FC have confirmed that they are set to loan out four players ahead of the January transfer window that swings open on 1st January.

The four players are defender Swaleh Chacha who will join Mathare United, winger Keegan Ndemi will head to Nairobi City Stars, striker Patrick Mugendi and midfield general Alex Luganji will both return to Nairobi Stima for the remainder of the season.

Chacha and Ndemi had earlier in the season been loaned out to Sony Sugar but following the team’s relegation to the National Super League, for failing to honor three league matches, the players have since been moved.

‘They are still our players but because we want them to play week in, week out, we’ve decided to loan them out. They can only get better by playing more,” Coach Bernard Mwalala told Opera News.

At the same time, the former Kenyan international disclosed that the team will sign two strikers and one midfielder during the January transfer window.

Already the club has signed striker John Mwita from Sony Sugar and Mwalala is keen on bringing another forward on board.

“Scoring has been our main problem and that’s an area we want to strengthen. I have already signed John Mwita from Sony and I am looking for one more striker and a midfielder. We have already identified these players and we are now in talks,” he added.
