[Photos] Surprise as Uhuru Lets Children Play With Special Presidential Vehicle

Have you ever wished to be part of the presidential motorcade? Apart from the sense of power felt while riding in these executive vehicles, these posh rides have a right of way on roads.

Although it is against protocol for common citizens to have access to any of the presidential vehicles some Presidents have in several instances broken the rules.

President Kenyatta, for instance, has more than once shocked Kenyans after doing the unexpected. In a recent incident, Kenyatta allowed children he was hosting at State House to access the private area and property including his land rover.

Other official vehicles that the children had access to include the limousine, ambulance, and the presidential escort motorbike.

The head of state had on Thursday, December 19th invited children for a pre-Christmas party where he interacted with them amid the line-up of activities that were scheduled for the day.

Children present came from different children’s homes within the country and had received a special invitation to have fun with children of the members of statehouse staff.

Unlike the other days when the president is always surrounded by bodyguards, Kenyatta freely interacted with the children who were allowed to play all sorts of games.

Despite the fact that photos are normally restricted for security purposes, children were allowed to take photos with the head of the state.

In previous Christmas party celebrations, Kenyatta has always gone all the way out to participate in fun activities with the children including dancing and sharing a meal with them.

This good gesture of hosting children at the statehouse excited Kenyans who are convinced that Kenyatta and first lady Margaret Kenyatta are parents of the nation.
