(VIDEO) DP Ruto Pushed Me Away- Gov Mutua Opens

Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua has opened up on the controversial handshake between him and the Deputy President Dr William Ruto at State House.

Speaking on K24’s Punchline show, Mutua narrated how DP Ruto pushed him away after he attempted to ask him to clarify a statement from their terse conversation.

Mutua revealed to TV presenter Anne Kiguta that both Majority Leaders of Parliament and Senate Aden Duale and Kipchumba Murkomen respectively repeated the same threats to him as DP Ruto did.

“When you say, I’ll fix you, what do you mean?” Governor Mutua asked.

The second-term governor would reveal that the seriousness on DP Ruto’s face made him believe there was more to their interaction than meets the eye.

This came after the Machakos Governor stated that he had been threatened by Murkomen and Duale.

Speaking over the weekend, DP Ruto dismissed claims of threats made by Mutua, saying it was just a ‘firm handshake.’

Mutua also stated that he would not know whether DP Ruto was involved in the death of controversial businessman Jacob Juma in 2016.

Juma had earlier in the same year posted on his Twitter page that a senior Government official was planning his assassination.

His lifeless body would be found with two bullet wounds to the chest in a murder puzzle that is yet to be solved.
