Na mimi namuelewa Uhuru  enyatta kabisa kwasababu najua mahali sisi tumetoka, going forward,I am clear ya kwamba hi Kenya lazima tutaibadilisha..and am committed to stand i want to promise you, hii nchi itabidilika..)

(Uhuru and I din’t partner to win votes, that wasn’t our plan. We aligned with Uhuru Kenyatta to alienate hatred and tribal politics. Yes wining votes was just extra, you know, bonus..bonus and there isn’t  a leader who wasn’t chosen by God, are we in understanding? so there we are clear, and we will make sure that Kenya moves forward, Am clear that we will change Kenya..and am committed to the stand. I wan’t to promise you we will change this country.)

In Twitter postings about his day on Thursday when he hosted local leaders in Sugoi, Uasin Gishu County, Ruto said it was the core responsibility of every leader to enhance and maintain peace.

‘Our unity and hard-work portends the prosperity of the country. We should jealously guard it,”he further tweeted.

The DP also revealed he will rather forgo power than see Kenyans fight over him or any other politician, adding that if it means people have to fight for him to get power, then he better forgo that power.

Ruto warned Kenyans against fighting each other over politicians, saying no politician was too important for Kenyans to fight for.
