Eric Omondi earned the title of ‘Baba Lao’ after peacefully hanging out with his ex Chantal Grazioli and baby mama Jacque Maribe.
2019 has been a significant year for the trio as it was the year when Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe announced that they had a child together and when Chantal and Eric Omondi broke up.
Sharing a photo that she took with the former couple, Jacque commented, “Mourinho style this Sunday, Chelsea meets Tottenham at 6.30, hii kitu haitaki makasiriko 😁😁😁.”
Eric And Chantal Breakup
Eric and Chantal broke up in May 2019 after close to 5 years of being together. The comedian claimed that the reason they broke up is because he felt that he was suffocating his ex-lover.
“It has been four and a half years since we started out. Since we seem not to be making any progress. First of all, Chantal is young and I consider myself a bit old. I feel like I have been a stumbling block for her as my career has been progressing yet, as she committed to making this work, hers has been stagnating. She has been ensuring that my brand works but what am I doing for her? It is a long-distance relationship because her family lives in Italy and she only comes here for like six months to visit me. I am not growing any younger,” he told SDE.
He then decided to set Chantal free so that she could go on and discover herself. “The only solution was for us to set each other free. I was suffocating Chantal… I want her to be free, to get on and discover herself. I want her to make decisions without feeling like I am holding her back. That applies to me too,” Eric said.
About 7 months later, Chantal and Eric reunited for Christmas and he asked fans to join him in welcoming her.
