‘You Are A Confused Man!’ Waiguru Blasts King Kaka

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru

Rapper King Kaka ruffled a few feathers in high places when he released his song ‘wajinga nyinyi’ with Governor Anne Waiguru top on the list.

His lyrics which accused the politician of being corrupt and a thief made Waiguru threaten to sue him for defamation.

Governor Waiguru, through her lawyers, said the remarks about her in the song are highly defamatory and depict her as extremely corrupt and having engaged in the theft of public funds at the National Youth Service, claims which she notes are false.

In the days following her threat, King Kaka claimed that his life was in danger, a claim many took as a joke.

Governor Anne Waiguru has today taken to social media to squash the beef after noticing, in her words, that King Kaka is a ‘confused’ young man.

“Having watched the antics of #kingkaka in the last couple of days with reports of fake assassination attempts and DCI summons, I recognize that he’s a confused attention seeking young man,” she wrote on her Twitter.

She, therefore, decided to withdraw her lawsuit against him.

“I have therefore made the decision not to proceed with the Kingkaka suit,” she said.

Kenyans have however flooded her social media in numbers to mock her and support King Kaka.

“Great. That’s laudable but I doubt he is a confused young man. Rather, he is an angry young man. Angry at the ineptness of the government. Angry at us voters who keep voting them in. No, he is not confused. Don’t get it skewed ma’am,” said Anne Ndegwa.

Nehemiah Korir added, “Pure nonsense.. avoid diversionary tactics, tell us about NYS scandal! God will not forgive you.”

“Tax Thieves Calling tax payers confused.. Uhuru or Raila won’t protect you forever..One Day, you will be held accountable for what happened in NYS,” said George Kayman.
