There were joy and dance at St Brigid’s Girls Secondary school in Kiminini after two identical twins who had scored the same marks in KCPE four years ago coincidentally scored the similar grade with the same points in this year’s KCSE results.
Shirleen Juma and Stacy Juma, who are so identical, amazed many in 2015 after they all scored same marks (408) in the KCPE before joining the same secondary school a month later.
And even before the 2015 dust settles, the two girls have left many amazed even more after they scored a similar grade of A- with same points, 74 in this years KCSE examinations that were released on Wednesday afternoon.
The two girls cited prayers from their parents, school’s deputy principal as well as the principal as their main source of strength and motivation in their success.

The two are said to have scored the same mark on frequent occasions during their times in both primary and secondary schools.
Despite the two girls aspiring to join same University, University of Nairobi, their future plans and careers differ.
Stacy is looking forward t0 becoming a doctor, (dentist) while Shirleen is looking forward to becoming a lawyer once she completes her studies.
St. Brigids Girls Kiminini registered her dominance in this year’s KCSE results after one of its candidates, Laura Chelang’at Ruto (86.533) appeared among the top ten students in the country.
Kenya High School was the best performing school with 76 As followed by Kapsabet Boys (49), Alliance Boys (48), Moi High School-Kabarak (30), Alliance Girls (27), Mary Hills Girls (25), Maseno School (23), Nairobi School (23), Mang’u High (23), and Moi Girls-Eldoret (21).
