Manchester United Dealt a Transfer Blow

Manchester United target, Kai Havertz has opted against leaving Bayer 04 Leverkusen in January according to reports in Germany.

United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on beefing up his midfield in January with Kai a major target for the Red Devils. The player had also spoken of his willingness to play in the English Premier League terming it a dream league.

The English side will have to wait until the summer if they are to sign the midfielder or look for another option. The player is currently enjoying a good run at his club and is keen on seeing out the remainder of the season before making a decision on his future.

The 20-year old has scored 26 goals and assisted 17 others since he made his debut for the club. Over the weekend he became the youngest ever player to reach 100 appearances in the Bundesliga.

United has been lacking creativity and coach Solskjaer is looking for a player capable of unlocking defenses and creating opportunities for his teammates. Kai perfectly fits the bill.

The Germany international will however not come cheaply as the Bundesliga outfit values him at around 100 million pounds. Real Madrid and Chelsea are also said to be interested in the youngster.
