Video Emerges of the Day Sonko’s Balls were Searched

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko never predicted that his sentiments would ever land him in trouble.

The tough-talking governor is known for his remarks that at times don’t go down too well with either the authorities or the general public.

A video emerged of opinions shared by the embattled county boss that is insinuated to have earned him a one-way trip to jail.

Speaking to the press after a past meeting with EACC officials, Sonko narrated how he was frustrated.

According to the controversial politician, his manhood was subjected to a security check while entering the Integrity Centre.

I want to tell them next time I come to the EACC, Niliona juzi nimeingia hapo wananipiga search sijui machine inapitishwa juu. Wanafungua zip sehemu nyeti ati kama nimeweka hidden camera(I walked in and they searched me with a machine. They opened my zip and checked my manhood if I had a hidden camera), remarked the Nairobi Governor.

He further insisted that the EACC CEO Twalib Abdallah Mbarak should be slapped for such an action.

Ata huyo Twalib anafaa kupigwa makofi saba kwa hito kipara yake ajue hii ni vita juu ya ufisadi(The EACC CEO Twalib should be given seven slaps on his bald head to remind him that this is a fight against corruption),” commented Sonko.

The ex-Nairobi Senator reiterated that he would continue to openly criticise the anti-corruption body over the alleged witchhunt against him.

Two weeks ago, Governor Sonko was dramatically arrested in Voi after orders were issued by DPP Noordin Haji.

Haji noted that the leader and his accomplices were involved in a Ksh 357 million corruption case.

The Jubilee party member, however, managed to secure bail after Anticorruption Court Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti granted his application.

Despite the freedom given, Sonko is set to appear before a court in Voi on Wednesday to answer to assault charges.

Sonko’s woes are far from over as Nairobi MCAs opted to launch an impeachment motion.
