Jesus Soars as Man City Maul Dinamo Zagreb

Gabriel Jesus scored a hat-trick as Manchester City thrashed Dinamo Zagreb 4-1 in a UEFA Champions League match played in Croatia on Wednesday evening.

City has already sealed qualification to the round of 16, and with Arsenal up next, Pep Guardiola made eight changes from the team that started against Manchester United last Saturday.

Inside the first ten minutes, highly rated midfielder, Dani Olmo gave the hosts the lead with a stunning volley as Guardiola’s men starred at another upset.

They however managed to turn things around with Jesus restoring parity in the 34th minute with a fine header from inside the penalty area.

Five minutes into the second half, City took the lead courtesy of another Jesus strike. The Brazilian finished off a fantastic team move, a move that caught Dinamo defenders napping.

Four minutes later, he got this treble after connecting to a pin point Benjamin Mendy cross. England U21 international Phil Foden then completed the mauling six minutes from time with a sliding finish past Zagreb keeper.
