David De Gea is the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper at the club and the same could be said of Aaron Wan Bissak at right back. Ashley Young started in the win over Spurs and his experience will be valuable at left-back against the likes of Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva.

At the heart of the defense, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire should continue with their very impressive partnership.

Midfield

Prior to the match in his press briefing, Manchester United manager claimed that Scott Mctominay is basically undroppable from the team. The midfielder has a very high work rate and is the leader in midfield in the absence of Paul Pogba.

He should be paired with Fred in a double pivot which worked so well against Jose Mourinho’s Spurs in midweek. Meanwhile, Jesse Lingard who is in form should be allowed to play in his preferred #10 position.

Attack

Marcus Rashford is the most inform player in the Premier League at the moment. Despite playing on the leftwing, Rashford scored all two goals in the 2-1 win over Spurs. He will again start on the left-wing.

Anthony Martial is yet to score since returning from injury but the striker is a big-game player and should start in the striking role while Daniel James covers the right-wing.

Starting XI: 4-2-1-3: De Gea, Bissaka, Young, Lindelof, Maguire, Mctomminay, Fred, Lingard, James, Rashford, Martial.
