Tanga Tanga MPs Force Uhuru to Cancel BBI Meeting, Uhuru Dam Bursts Its Banks & Parents in Dilemma After Form 1 Selection

Good morning,

President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again publicly stated that only God knows who will succeed him in 2022. Speaking during the official hand over of a hospital in his Gatundu backyard on Wednesday, Uhuru warned politicians opposing the BBI report.

Recently, Uhuru has developed a habit of switching into his Kikuyu dialect when he wants to deliver a message to politicians allied to his deputy, William Ruto. The president’s speech was far from the ‘si mnipe yangu kumi alafu William aende yake kumi jamani’ (Let me lead for 10 years and then Ruto will take over for another 10 years).

Ruto has publicly called on senior civil servants to respect Kenyans and stop making reckless comments in public. This was in the aftermath of Interior CS Fred Matiang’i’s visit to Kirinyaga last weekend. The CS said he only takes orders from the President.

Could Uhuru be the reason why the cabinet is divided? It seems like Uhuru is fuelling the war between Jubilee factions of Kieleweke and Tanga Tanga by publicly attacking the latter. The public attacks have given Kieleweke members more confidence to attack Ruto.

Very little is happening in government at the moment, except rampant corruption. Jubilee has three more years to lead the country before the next elections. The hospital Uhuru opened on Wednesday cost the Japanese Government Ksh8 million. If it was Jubilee, the same facility would probably have cost Ksh80 million-plus.

Is this the legacy Uhuru wants to leave behind?

It has also emerged that some students have been placed in schools far away from their home counties like a pupil from Kakamega being asked to join a school in Taita Taveta.
