Former Miss World Kenya Cecilia Mwangi has graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration in Strategic Management from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
Danson Mugatana’s ex-wife revealed in an interview at The People Daily that she is at a point in her life where she has been interacting in the board room and wanted to develop her skills, project management and communications.
“I’m at a point in my life where I interact a lot in boardrooms. I needed to develop my skills; the lingo, negotiation skills, project management and communications,” she intimated to us.
She advised the young girls to follow their dreams, develop new skills and work hard so as to be competitive in the market.
“They should work to always be ahead of time in the sectors they are pursuing, learn best practices and develop new skills to ensure they have a competitive advantage. Times are changing and so are the processes. They must make sure they are aligned to the changes,” she said.
The beauty queen launched her foundation Ahadi Trust about a decade ago in a bid to tackle the jigger menace through jigger removal activities across the country. In addition, Miss Cecilia was to come up with healthcare programs in communities, provide technological solutions among the youth and advocate for basic knowledge in health and hygiene issues through projects.
