They’re currently sat tenth in the Premier League table with only four wins from a possible 14 this season and supporters will no doubt be hoping to see reinforcements come through the door.

And reports from Italy claim that United have made a €25m (Ksh2.8B) offer for Dejan Kulusevski which has been turned down by Serie A side Atalanta.

Kulusevski has spent the season on loan at Parma from Atalanta with three goals and five assists from 14 appearances.

President Antonio Percassi had turned down United’s first offer, saying ‘no’, with the Atalanta chief wanting closer to €35m for the on-loan winger.

Inter Milan are also understood to be interested in the 19-year-old, who recently won his first international cap for Sweden.

Manchester United are welcoming Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Wednesday with Jose Mourinho looking forward to recording a 100 percent performance from four matches at the helm of Spurs.

It’s a game that’s very important as winger Daniel James admits. “The fans are going to be right behind us but it’s a massively important game and we want to go into that with our heads held high and hoping that we can win,” he said.

Mourinho’s Spurs are currently placed on the 6th position with 20 points-one behind fifth-place Crystal Palace. Liverpool, Manchester City, Leicester City, and Chelsea are first, second, third and fourth respectively.
