Kenyan marathoner Eliud Kipchoge doesn’t trend for no reason. And in most cases when he trends something good has happened.
His name started rocking the internet on Tuesday, December 3 and has continued dominating the space.
Beyond Zero half marathon
On Tuesday, he was part of the delegation that launched the 2020 Beyond Zero half marathon led by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta at State House. He was one of the trainers.
The event was attended by Mrs. Ida Odinga and hundreds of the marathon supporters, Eliud Kipchoge’s wife Grace, Sports CS Amina Mohammed, Chief of Staff in the Office of the First Lady Constance Gakonyo and National Aids Control Council CEO Dr. Nduku Kilonzo among others.
“It was my honour to go for a jog with our First Lady followed by the launch of her Excellency Beyond Zero Half Marathon,” Eliud tweeted.
Kipchoge visits Kirubi
Kenyans are also excited that the world marathoner has also met entrepreneur Chris Kirubi to discuss matters around his inspirational belief ‘No Human is Limited’.
“Today I visited with the industrialist and entrepreneur Mr. Chris Kirubi. I had a great time with him and was able to share some ideas on sport and business. Together we read from the same script as he is a strong believer of #NoHumanIsLimited. I wish him a happy and healthy 2020,” he tweeted.
