Wanyama Misses Again as Mourinho Picks Squad for Bournemouth Duel

Jose Mourinho has left out Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama in his Tottenham Hotspur squad against Bournemouth.

Mourinho has made three changes from the side that beat Olympiacos in the Champions League in midweek. Jan Vertonghen is recalled to start at left-back with Danny Rose making way.

Serge Aurier once again starts at right-back with Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez in the middle of the back four.

Moussa Sissoko makes his first start under Mourinho as he comes in for Lucas Moura while Tanguy Ndombele replaces Harry Winks in the middle of the park. Eric Dier keeps his place in the Tottenham midfield despite being taken off after just 27 minutes on Tuesday night.

Harry Kane once again leads the line-up front for Spurs while Dele Alli and Hueng-min Son offer support in attack meaning Christian Eriksen has to settle for a place on the substitutes bench this afternoon.

Summer signing Giovani Lo Celso is also named on the bench along with Moura, Winks and Kyle Walker-Peters so Mourinho has plenty of options to call upon if needed.

Confirmed line-ups:

Tottenham Hotspur; Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Dier, Ndombele, Sissoko, Dele, Son, Kane.

Subs: Rose, Winks, Walker-Peters, Lo Celso, Eriksen, Lucas Moura, Whiteman.
