Spanish champions Barcelona will welcome German giants Borussia Dortmund at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night in a crunch Group F match with both teams keen on bagging maximum points from the match to enhance their chances of finishing top in the group.
The two teams played to a barren draw in the first leg that was staged at the Signal-Iduna-Park on matchday one in September and the clash remains open although Barcelona holds an advantage as they will be playing at their backyard.
However, the home draw against Slavia Praha on matchday 4 showed that their Catalunya base is no longer a fortress it used to be. Only one point separates the two teams, Barcelona is top with eight while Dortmund comes in second with seven points.
Dortmund’s away from however has not been convincing either. The team has managed just two away wins in all competitions this term, one in the league and the other in the UEFA Champions League and a trip to the Camp Nou makes them underdogs.
Barcelona, on the other hand, has just dropped two points once at home this season. It came in the 0-0 draw against Praha. The team has however won all its league matches at home scoring 25 goals in 6 home matches.
This makes the match an exciting match to look forward to. Barcelona is favorites to win with lots of goals expected in the game.
TIP: Barcelona to win odds=1.53. Alternative tip over 2.5 goals odds=1.47
