Oscar Sudi Outlines Next Assignment For Uhuru After BBI Report Launch

Kapseret Member of Parliament(MP) on Tuesday tactically took a swipe at President Uhuru Kenyatta over the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) report by questioning him on when he will be launching the Big Four agenda.

Taking to his social media accounts, the MP, who has been an ardent critic of the BBI course, asked the President to launch his Big Four agenda next.

“Those launching BBI today should also tell us when are they launching BIG FOUR agenda. Can you launch it on Thursday please?” posed the MP.

In all appearances, the Sudi was mocking the Head of State for failing to prioritize his government goals.

The MP is among a host of leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto that have labelled the BBI course as a plot to disenfranchise Ruto’s 2022 Presidential bid in favour of ODM leader Raila Odinga.

According to the leaders, the BBI course is a scheme that will enable Raila to ascend to power come 2022.

Though the BBI report as of Tuesday was yet to be made public, the leaders have before claimed that the report aims at initiating a referendum process.

However, both President Uhuru and Raila have on record insisted that the BBI course is about uniting Kenyans and not about 2022 succession politics.

Uhuru assured the nation and his party members that the report will be availed to them to read and understand before charting the way forward.

Nevertheless, the BBI taskforce is expected to hand over the report to President Uhuru and ODM leader at State House, Nairobi, on Tuesday.

A host of leaders including DP Ruto, Speakers of the two Assemblies, Majority and Minority Leaders, some governors, religious leaders among others will be present.

President Uhuru and Raila will also meet representatives from the 47 counties to officially launch the report to the public on Wednesday.

100 people from each county have been mobilised to attend the event at the Bomas of Kenya.
