Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly closing in on a return to AC Milan after his agent Mino Raiola met Milan supremos on Wednesday with the striker keen on a return to Serie A.
The Swede is a free agent after parting ways with MLS side LA Galaxy at the end of October. He has been linked with a host of clubs including Man United, Liverpool, Bologna, and even Tottenham and it appears that the 38-year old will g be going back to Milan.
The burly forward played for the San Siro based club between 2010 and 2012. He also played for Milan’s rivals Juventus and Inter Milan before embarking on a journey that took him to France, Spain, England, and USA.
However there’s a stumbling block, the striker’s hefty salary demands is said to be the main concern for the seven-times European champions who were earlier this year handed a European Football ban for breaching financial fair play rules.
Napoli too is said to be interested in the striker’s services as he shares a cordial relationship with coach Carlo Ancelotti but the recent stand-off between the players and management seems to have all but ended a potential move to Naples.
