Who said lube is only meant for vaginal dryness?

A study done by an Indiana University discovered that 70 per cent of the 2,453 women surveyed said that lube made sex more pleasurable and enjoyable.
Before you get in between the sheets, here are 5 types of lube you need to consider;
1.Water-based lube.
This is the most used lubricant. It is based on water and the skin absorbs it quickly. This may cause the lube to dry out quicker and require you and your partner to reapply.
Do not worry though, water-based lubes have been formulated with moisturizers. They reduce dryness, soothe the skin and you will enjoy sex.
2.Silicon-based.
Any silicone lube is the best because they contain no water. They give a very strong gliding effect and it’s long-lasting. You won’t stop in the middle of the sex to reapply.
Another interesting thing is they can be used in water and are perfect for anal sex. Avoid using the silicone lube with a silicone sex toy. It will damage the toy.
3.The Oil lube.
They have fewer additives and preservatives which is advisable to use. Oil-based lube is recommended for those who are not using condoms. If you use a condom, it’s possible for it to break or spill and the pregnancy you were avoiding will definitely come knocking.
The disadvantage of using this is that you are prone to get infected in the genital areas. Examples of infections include bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections.
4. The Flavoured lube.
It’s simply scented and flavoured. It’s best used for oral sex. The different kinds of flavours include; strawberry, chocolate, mint and the list is endless.
The main disadvantage of it is that it gets sticky which can ruin the mood.
5. The Warming Lube.
As the name communicates, it’s a type of lube that increases the heat and intensifies the sensation.
It is water-based and it is safe to use with condoms and sex toys.
