Women lie for many reasons but they are majorly known for lying about their age. This habit is very common among ladies in their late thirties and beyond.
Although we can blame it on the mid-life crisis, there are many factors that prompt them to lie.
Younger ladies lie too at least to get into a club or get a fake ID so that they can drive or have access to something that the law does not allow for underage people.
Some men might find it so annoying when women lie while others simply don’t care.

To sleep with younger dudes- Some men would sleep with any woman regardless of their age. However, women prefer to lie since they fear rejection.
Old women also get criticized for dating younger men and they try to avoid this by all means.
To feel younger- Although aging is inevitable, men and women have embraced antiaging cosmetics and even surgeries to keep them young.
Everyone likes being young and even though some cannot afford the antiaging therapies, the easier way is to fake their age.
Peer pressure- Young people are known to be energetic and so full of life, ladies who did not get to live a hyped life in their youth are more likely to younger people which pressures them not to reveal their real age.
Insecurity- Some ladies are simply not comfortable about their age and it is therefore difficult for them to disclose such details with others.
To feel sexy- Men find younger women more attractive and women always want to keep it at that. They believe that looking young is sexy.
Women in the modern era have come to a realization that they can still slay in their 40’s. It might not involve showing curves in bikini’s but some women in their 40’s have proved that it is not impossible.
To escape societal judgment- People always make fun women they think are too old to be part of an activity or certain jobs. To avoid this, women prefer keeping their age private or fake it.
To get certain jobs- some jobs have a specific age bracket as a requirement and women are forced to lie to get their way into these positions.
