Raila Pays Special Visit to Joho, Wishes Him Quick Recovery

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga, on Saturday, paid a visit to ailing Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho at his home in Vipingo residence.

An official communication by the Former Prime Minister, which was posted on his Facebook page, said Joho was in high spirits.

“Visited the Governor of Mombasa Hassan Joho at his Vipingo residence to wish him quick recovery following his recent hospitalization after a bout of Malaria. It was good seeing him in good spirits” he said.

The Governor, who was recently admitted at Mombasa Hospital and later discharged after suffering a bout of malaria is currently recovering at his home.

According to media reports, Joho was admitted the Hospital for five days, but his condition has greatly improved.

Former Nigerian President Olesegun Obasanjo and Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir had visited him at the hospital on November 8.

While commenting on ODM’s win in Kibra that found him admitted at the Hospital, Joho said: “God is good. I think what has made me feel better today is the results of Kibra. I wish Imran all the best”.
