Huge Crowd Welcomes Ruto in Kericho [Photos]

A huge crowd welcomed Deputy President William Ruto, on Saturday, when he toured Kericho County where he launched various development projects and dared rebel Jubilee Members of Parliament to quit the Party.

DP Ruto, who was accompanied by Rift Valley Leaders, commissioned the 36 Kilomerter Kipkelion – Lilloch Road and the 31-Kilomerter Sigowet-Sokohuru roads in Sigowet/Soin constituencies.

He also addressed residents in Lilloch and Kapsorok where he hit out at rebel Jubilee Members of Parliament whom he dared to leave the Party.

On Jubilee’s unity, Ruto said that President Uhuru Kenyatta, who met with Mt Kenya leaders at Sagana State Lodge, had confirmed the Party is united.

“Yesterday, His Excellency the President gave a clear direction….Those false prophets, those conmen that have been spreading news that Jubilee is stuck now have a clear direction from the Party leader that Jubilee is united”.

He dared Jubilee MPs who supported ODM Party in the Kibra byelection to leave the Jubilee outfit.

“Those in Jubilee but are supporting other parties, can choose the path of democracy and join those other parties,” he said.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator hit out at ODM Party boss Raila Odinga whom he accused of using violence to win the Kibra byelection.

He warned that the Jubilee Party would only support the Building Bridges Initiative report under the condition that Raila renounces violence.
