Uhuru Summons Mt Kenya Leaders, Joho Drops His Entire Cabinet & You’ll Be Jailed If You Get Conned During KDF Recruitment

Good morning,

We thank God for another Friday. The week has been very cold, with rains starting early in the morning. If you weren’t soaked on your way to work, you should thank God because probably you own a car.

The Paul Manyasi versus Cedrick Shivonje puzzle has taken another twist after the Prisons Department confirmed that they indeed have an inmate by the name Cedrick Shivonje. This vindicates The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) and the cleaning company Colnet, both of which have denied working with a Paul Manyasi.

But where does this leave Sky News with their ‘in-depth’ investigations? The other big question is who is the stowaway who jumped from the Kenya Airways plane in June this year? Was it a JKIA employee or an intruder who breached all security protocol to access the plane?

Away from the airport drama, Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti baffled senators on Thursday when he presented a report written in German to explain his long absence from office. Awiti appeared before the Senate Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to respond to audit queries.

The governor who has reportedly been diagnosed with blindness told the committee that he couldn’t read well and was not in a position to respond to the questions. Does this mean that he wasn’t aware of his medical report being in German? And what is he still doing in office?

Here are the stories making headlines on Opera News:
