Ruto Allied MPs Mock Uhuru Minutes After Sagana Meeting(Photos)

A section of Members of Parliament allied to Deputy President William Ruto on Friday shocked many with Similar posts on social media that in appearances seemed to be mocking President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The leaders who had attended Uhuru’s event at Sagana State lodge in Meru county posted a picture of theirs in a group and wrote similar captions on it.

According to MPs posts, the legislators including Moses Kuria, Cate Waruguru, Ngirici Wangui and Senator Kihika captioned the same photo with a statement: “Sagana was good, the region is united.”

Many Kenyans on social media were quick to suspect that something was fishy with their photos.

City lawyer Donald Kipkorir reacted to the MPs gesture as an insult to Uhuru.

President Uhuru on Friday met Mt Kenya leaders to chart a way forward for the region.

The meeting was reportedly meant to discuss a myriad of issues ranging from develompment to political.

Uhuru used the platform to comment on his Handshake deal between him and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

According to insiders, Uhuru dismissed assertions that the Handshake deal was to enable Raila to ascend to power and said the initiative was to bring peace in the country.
