Kenyan producer Magix Enga has threatened former Wasafi artist Harmonize days after he accused him of stealing his beat.
The ‘dundaing’ producer took to Instagram to reveal that he has given Harmonize an ultimatum to pull down his ‘Uno’ song before he takes further action.
“Iβm giving you 1 week take down the song otherwise.. Natoa mwenye let me put it in Swahili so that you can understand what Iβm trying to say” he wrote
According to Magix Enga this issue of artists stealing beats has been going on for a while and he insists that he will not allow it to happen in the country.
“This sh* has happened before but this time things will be different .. iβm not going to allow that to happen not in 254” he stated
His remarks come days after he publicly shamed Harmonize for copying his ‘Dundaing’ beat and using it for his ‘Uno song’.
Despite these allegations, Harmonize has been silent about the matter and he continues to hype his new song which has over 2 Million views on Youtube.
This is not the first time that the Wasafi team has been on the spot over such allegations.Β Last year, they were accused of stealing a beat from ‘Tempo’ for their Kwangwaru song.
Following these threats, some Kenyans have sided with him while others have called him out claiming that he stole the same beats from ‘Motigbana’ by Olamide.
