Arsenal’s Three Man Manager Shortlist To Replace Disgraced Unai Emery

Arsenal lost to Leicester City on Saturday to make it five games without a win for the Gunners as pressure mounts on Unai Emery to deliver results or face the sack.

The Spaniard is in his second season at the club but has done little to improve from where Arsene Wenger left off.

He was given a vote of confidence by the Arsenal board on Monday but reports have emerged that behind the scenes, Arsenal is already planning for life without him.

Head of football, Raul Sanlehi, and Technical director Edu have already drafted a three man-manager shortlist as they intensify their search for Unai Emery’s perfect replacement.

The Spaniard was the favourite to replace Arsene Wenger in 2018 before a late decision turned the tides in Unai Emery’s favour. He is currently serving as Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City and is highly rated.

It is understood that Manchester City will not get into the way should Arsenal come calling for a second time.

Luis Enrique

He won the Spanish treble with Barcelona in 201 and is currently without a job. Enrique is very good friends with Arsenal’s head of football Raul Sanlehi who previously worked for Barcelona.

Unlike Unai Emery, he has a good command of the English language and can organise a defence!

Massimiliano Allegri

The former Juventus manager is a serial winner having won Serie A titles with Juventus and AC Milan. He is currently jobless after leaving Juventus last year and could be open for a move to the English Premier League.

Allegri’s impressive CV also includes taking Juventus to two Champions League finals where they were unlucky to lose to Real Madrid and Barcelona.
