Ruto Launches Another Attack At Raila Over BBI Report

Deputy President ( DP) William Ruto On Sunday dismissed remarks made by ODM leader Raila Odinga at DC ground, Kibra, over the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) report that is yet to unveiled.

While in Kibra on Sunday, Raila told his supporters that once the BBI report is out, he and President Uhuru Kenyatta will launch a consultative forum with citizens across the country to establish a proper stand for their supporters over the BBI team recommendations.

Deputy President William Ruto wants Raila to apologise for Kibra violence.

The sentiments attracted czar criticism from the DP who urged the ODM leader to denounce, he says, his criminal gang in Kibra that allegedly unleashed violence on some Jubilee leaders.

The DP slammed the remarks saying it was impossible to discuss better ways of bringing Kenyans together yet one party is still capable of unleashing violence anytime.

“Tinga, that we discuss BBI, meant to sort out election violence when you have not only refused to renounce terror but continue to brazenly celebrate & perpetuate it, is to take Kenyans for fools!

My friend, kuna upungufu mkubwa wa wajinga. When will you RENOUNCE violence PUBLICLY??” tweeted the DP.

The attack comes hours after Ruto accused Raila and his team of bullying their supporters in Kibra during the voting exercise.

Ruto accused the ODM team of intimidating their supporters as well as scaring them from turning to vote.

He asked the ODM leader and his brigade to apologise to Kenyans for unleashing ‘terrorists’ during the polls.

However, the ODM leader and a host of his MPs on Sunday dismissed the allegations saying it is the Jubilee party leaders that were captured by the media engaging in a stone-throwing ‘contest’ with innocent residents.
