Kroos Hopes Want-away Winger Plays For Real Madrid

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos says his team still needs the services of Gareth Bale as speculation over the winger’s future continues.

The Welsh winger has fallen out of favor with head coach Zinedine Zidane and was largely expected to leave the club last summer but a move To China fell through.
Bale hasn’t featured for the team in weeks but Kroos hopes the player can play for the team in the near future.
“We will need Bale’s qualities a lot more, as the season goes on. I don’t know if he will stay. In summer he was almost gone. Then it’s usually not so easy to continue as normal when both sides have already closed the deal.
” But he was very motivated and played good games. He helped us with goals. The fact that he came back injured from the national team will bother him the most,” he said.
Bale will feature for Wales during the international break despite not playing for Madrid since the October international break over fitness issues and the German midfielder says the whole scenario is ‘stupid’ but hopes it’s resolved soon.
” Of course it seems stupid to have been with the national team, then to have been outside your club and then to be fit again for your next stay with the national team. Maybe that’s a bit stupid from a timing point of view. I hope that he will be fit again after the international break. And I’m quite sure that we can still use his qualities in many games, ” he added.
