The biggest and most anticipated math on the Kenyan Football calendar takes place this Sunday at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani. Gor Mahia will host AFCLeopards for the first Mashemeji Derby of the season.

Both teams are currently level on 15 points and three points for either side could see them top the table should Tusker FC fail to beat KCB in Nakuru. Expect this match to be heated, fully charged but most importantly, it should be a fun watch.

Will Posta Rangers continue unbeaten run?

Since losing to Western Stima on matchday 3, Posta Rangers has been on a five-match unbeaten run winning one and drawing four. Sammy Omollos side host bottom-placed Chemelil Sugar who are yet to win this season and only have one point from 8 matches.

Everything looks set for Rangers to make it six matches in a row without tasting defeat.

It speaks volumes of the competition at the top of the table when you consider that either of KCB, Tusker, Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards could go top of the table with a win this weekend.

KCB is currently on 14 points but will be playing against the table-toppers Tusker FC. Zedekiah Otieno and his men have won three of their last five while Tusker has won four in the same duration. This will, however, be the toughest test for KCB so far this season.

Both teams have very good teams going forward but defensively they are a shambles. The last five matches that Sofapaka has played produced 17 goals while Wazito’s last match was a seven-goal thriller that ended 4-3 in favor of the moneybags. Expect Sunday’s match to produce a few more goals.
