According to persons present at the polling station, the Jubilee flagbearer arrived on Thursday afternoon in the company of police officers.

The former footballer was not the only target of rowdy youth in Kibra as his ‘Political father’, former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale received the same treatment twice.

Khalwale was stoned and asked to get out of Kibra grounds over allegations that he was the man in charge of voter bribery allegedly perpetrated by the Jubilee Party.

Khalwale was first stoned as he made rounds at YMCA polling station to check the progress of the ongoing by-election.

Amid the gunshots, the defeated senator ran to his vehicle and fled off to uperhill polling station.

Jubilee party seems to be an unwelcome visitor in Kibra on Thursday as another MP was roughed up by anonymous persons.

Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa was settling scores with his Dagoretti North counterpart, Simba Arati, when by-standers landed on him amid a live TV coverage.
