Ruto Mocks Raila with Bedroom Tackle After Mutua, Ngilu Support

Deputy President William Ruto has mocked ODM leader Raila Odinga for seeking the support of “outsiders” to popularise the party’s candidate bid for the Kibra race.

DP Ruto remarks came after Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua and his Kitui counterpart Charity Ngilu endorsed ODM’s candidate Bernard Imran Okoth on Saturday.

The Kamba leaders accompanied ODM leader Raila Odinga to meet Kamba residents residing in Kibra.

DP Ruto ridiculed the endorsement of the ODM candidate Imran Okoth by the two Kamba leaders saying that Raila has panicked.

“I want to tell you that things are difficult in Kibera. The bedroom man has now sought help from other people and parties” Ruto said adding that “if you see someone has asked for help in the bedroom, just know that things are difficult” he told a cheering crowd in Nakuru County.

The witty Deputy President further remarked that “people usually don’t seek help when it comes to bedroom matters”.

He expressed confidence that the Jubilee Party will carry the day in the city by-election slated for November 7.

“The Jubilee Party has stood firm with Mariga and God willing on November 7, he will be announced as the MP-elect for Kibra Constituency,” DP Ruto said.

The ODM’s candidate endorsement by Kamba leaders comes just a day after Raila met with a delegation of representatives from the Gusii community who reside in Kibra.

Raila said, in a Facebook post, that the representatives pledged to support Imran in the upcoming byelection.
