Mombasa musician Nyota Ndogo took to her Instagram page to update her fans why she had been admitted to hospital.
This was after she previously shared a photo of her in a hospital bed with her son Mbaraka Afrika standing next to her. She thanked her son for being by her side while at the hospital for he refused completely to leave her alone.
“Mbaraka Afrika umekataa kabisa kuondoka karibu yangu leo nimejua nipo na dume ndani ya nyumba thanks My son Yani umetaka kunibeba,” she said.
Nyota revealed that she had suffered from a severe headache which made her rush home from her restaurant job.
“Shida ilikua kichwa.Kichwa kilianza nikiwa kazini then nikameza dawa nikawaambia wenzangu wacheni niende home mybe dawa itapunguza maumivu yani kilichotokea ni kichwa kuzidi mpaka kupiga nduru yani sikueza kuvumilia,” she explained.
On reaching home, the headache became so severe that she started screaming. That’s when her neighbors rushed her to the hospital.
“Leo nilifikiria mtapata bad news but thank to my majirani zangu kwa kunikimbiza hospitali Mungu mkubwa,” she said.
“Umeshawai umwa mpaka ukakufuru ukasema bora nife kuliko haya maumivu? Jana sijawai kuskia hivyo tena ndio mara ya kwanza,”she said.
After she arrived home after being discharged, she was shocked to find her young daughter Baraka Abdalla Mohammed in the kitchen preparing liver for her- something she had never seen before.
“Nimetoka bedroom kwangu ukitoka tu unakutana na kichen yangu.nimesikia kama mtu anapika nimefika nimemkuta @barkaabdallamohamed anakaanga maini eti aniletee.nimeshtuka sana kwaajili ya moto kawashaje?” she said.
The mother’s love was clearly evident during her illness period.
