University of Nairobi students, on Tuesday, staged massive protests within the CBD to vent their anger over the death of one of their colleagues.
Motorists were forced to look for alternative routes after the students blocked parts of University Way.
This follows the death of their colleague who was hit by an ambulance at the gate of the institution.
The student, identified as John, was reportedly pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
The agitated students chanted and sang comradeship songs demanding justice for the deceased colleague.
