A babymoon is a vacation you take with your spouse before your baby arrives, usually in the second trimester.

Even though many Kenyans have preferred flying out and seeing what other countries have to offer, it is good to acknowledge what is available in your country.

Having a babymoon celebration is a perfect time for the couple to unwind before the baby enters their world.

A tropical vacation is nice, but you can also do a staycation. The important thing is to take time off and do it!

Here are a few places you can consider when you want to have a babymoon.

Mombasa

This one may seem a little too obvious but the perfect place especially when working with a budget and still enjoy the vacation. There are many hotels that offer discounts at different times of the year, you just have to decide a place that is pocket-friendly.

Malindi is a town on Malindi Bay at the mouth of the Galana River, lying on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It is 120 kilometres northeast of Mombasa and it is served with a domestic airport and a highway between Mombasa and Lamu.

Maasai Mara

Watamu

This is another perfect destination for a babymoon. There are lots of activities one can engage in. Once you book a hotel, there is a sure guarantee after breakfast you have the morning enjoying the pool water aerobics.

Amboseli

It is best known for the imagery of African elephants with the towering Kilimanjaro peak as a backdrop. Also, Amboseli is home to a vast elephant population, known for its large old bull elephants.
