A 21-year-old man in Murang’a is on the run after defiling an octogenarian and biting her cheek.
The suspect who has since been identified by the victim is said to have accosted the granny and assaulted her before performing the beastly act on the 81-year-old woman.

urs of the granny became alarmed the following morning after they found her weeping outside of her house with torn undergarments.
Upon cross-examining the granny’s kitchen, the neighbours found shoes belonging to the suspect.
Faith Muthoni, a neighbour who spoke to Citizen TV, said the granny was badly assaulted by the youthful man during the crime.
“The suspected to her clothes and had her bound in the kitchen,” said Ms Muthoni.

This comes barely a week after two teachers in at a school in Muranga assaulted a female student at Ndutumi Secondary school.
The minor was reported to have reported her defilement case by the school’s deputy principal to her class teacher who in turn defiled her too.
Ndutumi school principal would report the incident to police officers in Muranga who swung into action to arrest the two suspected teachers.
DCI officer Julius Rutere, who is based in Muranga, said the crime happened on Sunday when day scholars at the school were away and the borders were on break.
