Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Babu Owino has finally located a student who dropped out of the university to become a security guard due to lack of fees.
A week ago, the MP had appealed to the public, through his Facebook page, to help him trace Cosmas Mutua who dropped out of Multimedia University because of lack of school fees to be a watchman in Mombasa.
Babu said he wanted to help Cosmas complete his studies.
“If anyone knows the whereabouts of this comrade who dropped out from the university to be a watchman because of lack of fees to alert me. I want to help him complete his studies” he said.
On Tuesday, the MP posted on Facebook that he had met Cosmas and promised to pay his school fees until he graduates from the University.
“Today I met comrade Cosmas Mutua who dropped out of Multimedia University because of lack of school fees to be a watchman in Mombasa. He arrived in Nairobi today morning and we discussed several issues pertaining to his education which I will fully sponsor till he graduates. God bless Comrades” Babu said.
