Madam Boss Akothee has finally spoken up after the internet trolled her for looking like a man in the just concluded AFRIMMA awards ceremony.
The controversial singer, who took home the Best Female in East Africa Awards, did not get the praise she hoped for after she posted a picture with the trophy.
In her post, the mother of five revealed that she was left to do her own make-up since she had to rush to stage.
“I DID MY OWN MAKE UP NOW COME BEAT ME !” Akothee shouted.
She explained that if she hadn’t done it herself, she would have missed her performance.
“If I waited for the professional make up artists I would have missed my 6minutes performance 🤔🤔 which one is more important?” she asked.
She reminded fans that she was beautiful even in her natural skin. This we all know is true.
“Because you all know how beautiful I am with or without make up😂😂😂😂 My friend if you are pretty , you are pretty ❤ I had to do what I had to do 😂😂😂😂,” she added.
Despite rocking a sexy red dress, all fans could talk about was her poorly done makeup and she pointed out this disappointment when addressing her fans.
“You all talking about make up 🤷♂️no one is seing my red Expensive red dress from #guess, stop diverting from the topic and congratulate me for 2019 Job well done ,witchcraft started like this 😂😂😂” Akothee said.
