Months after their controversial affair, Hamisa Mobetto moved to the children’s Court in Dar es Salaam to demand monthly upkeep of Sh230,000 for their son Dylan Naseeb.
The socialite claimed that Diamond had failed to pay child support for their son for two months in a case heard by Resident Magistrate Devotha Kisoka.
Close to two years after this saga, Hamisa has come out to clear the air by claiming that it was Diamond that moved to court and not the other way around.
Speaking on E FM about whether Diamond had an issue when it came to paying child support, Hamisa said, “Yule hakusumbua. Yule maswala ya wanasheria aliyaletanga mwenyewe. Alivyoleta mwenyewe wanasheria wakaanza, unajua kila mtu anataka benefit kwa client wake. Mwisho wa siku tulifika mahakamani lakini tulisolve kila kitu na maisha yanaendelea.”
After the court case, the two have been co-parenting very well with Hamisa revealing that she allows here baby daddies to see their children because she knows how lonely it can get when children don’t spend time with their fathers.
A co-parenting relationship that has flowed so smoothly that Diamond praised his Tanzanian baby mama for how she has handled herself in their co-parenting setup.
“I always make sure that I provide for my children to the best of my ability. That is why you don’t hear of any issues I have with my Tanzanian baby mama Hamisa Mobetto. Though we have had issues in the past, Hamisa is very understanding. I always make sure I send whatever is needed at the end of every month. She decided that’s since we are co-parents we will bring up this child together in harmony. But I think Zari has made it difficult because she doesn’t understand why we can’t all be together,” Diamond said during a press conference.
